Job Description

Waverley Eye Care Centre and Eyes on Bridgwater are seeking a full time associate optometrist for 4-5 days a week, excluding Sundays.Our ClinicsWaverley Eye Care Centre is a 25-year established independently owned full scope optometry clinic housed in a 4000 sq foot modern space/facility. We are well equipped with 5 exam lanes, a busy dispensary, the latest diagnostic equipment and on-site finishing & tinting lab. Equipment includes Visual Field, OCT, Optos, axial length biometry, topographer, meibography, Right Eye, i-Care, autorefractor/NCT, SVT, VT hockey trainer, ReadAlyzer, and Perceptual Testing. With a family atmosphere our 2 Doctor practice has loyal generations of patients. We are conveniently located in Southwest Winnipeg with free parking. Waverley Eye Care Centre provides vision rehabilitation, sports vision training, myopia management and enhanced dry eye services.Eyes on Bridgwater is a 4-year-old growing, independently owned optometry clinic housed in a 1000 sq foot space. We have 1 fully equipped exam lane in addition to Optos, axial length biometry, topographer, meibography, i-Care and autorefractor. We are conveniently located with free parking in a rapidly growing young community in Southwest Winnipeg.What are we looking for

  • Compensation based on guaranteed minimum of $450 per day ($108,000 annually based on Fulltime schedule) or 21% of gross billings, whichever is greater

She graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and received the Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence in Contact Lens patient care. Dr. Friesen was a board member of the Optometry Examining Board of Canada (OEBC) and currently serves on the board of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Mennonite Central Committee and Fighting Blindness Canada.Dr. Michael Nelson grew up on a hog farm in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He received his Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and then completed a family practice & low vision residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He served as the president of the Manitoba Association of Optometrists, president of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and currently serves on the boards of the World Council of Optometry and Eye Recommend. Dr. Nelson also enjoys educating the public on the latest eye topics on his Youtube channel Good Optometry Morning.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $61,929.00-$212,133.00 per yearBenefits:
