Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and unload shipments in an efficient and safe manner.
• Sign for inbound shipments once accurate product counts are confirmed.
• Assist Delivery Service Specialist with loading their vehicles effectively and efficiently with all the necessary signed documentation.
• Move product to designated area as directed by the Red Prairie Warehouse Management Information System with the proper material handling equipment.
• Replenish Pick Zones (Full case and PTL) as prompted by the WMS
• Efficiently stack and store product as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Prior to product storage, count all product, ensure accuracy and check all shipments for damage.
• Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments to immediate Supervisor.
• Check or audit of outbound order accuracy.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customers orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Load, unload, move stack, and stage product and materials using material handling equipment - Reach, Dock Stocker, Walkie, slip sheet, box clamp).
• Use Red Prairie Radio Frequency ID equipment for picking, receiving, storing and load functions, as required.
• Maintain all equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect and complete the pre-inspection Material Handling Equipment report and submit to Supervisor.
• Efficiently manually pick customer orders for shipments, ensuring the correct quantities using “pick to light” system when required.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-years warehouse experience operating material handling equipment.
• Raymond Reach Operator experience and certification with proven track record for safety.
• High school education. Post-Secondary education preferred.
• Working towards a logistics management or supply chain certificate program preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a 3PL warehouse/transportation environment
• 1-2 year of experience in an office environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience on a combination of the following forklift equipment; Raymond Reach, Dock Stocker, Counterbalance, Order Picker and/or Walkie

• Ability to lift 30lbs numerous times throughout the day.
• Able to stand, walk, push, bend, pull and grasp materials throughout the day.
• Ability to be flexible in daily work assignments including Order Fulfillment Specialist II.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members.
• Ability to adapt to changes quickly, as well as, work under time pressures.
• Thorough knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours including weekends and mandatory working on statutory holidays.
