Job Description

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Order Management Analyst is responsible for formulating and executing allocation strategies ensuring optimal inventory levels for all orders and channels. In partnership with the Merchandising and Planning teams, our Order Management Analyst ensures timely delivery of all orders and supports the replenishment and assortment strategy for retail stores.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support in creating, managing, executing and analyzing inventory demand for orders to maximize profit and business opportunities.
  • Allocations of goods to orders within each channel – wholesale, eCommerce, and retail stores based on planned assortments.
  • Overseeing and assessing inventory by demand and making recommendations to ensure orders can be fulfilled and have the optimal level of product when needed.
  • Analyzing the flow of orders between all platforms.
  • Reviewing inventory shortages by channel and maintaining order updates.
  • Managing replenishment transfers/allocations from distribution centres.
  • Creating and maintaining wholesale customer profiles as needed.
  • Manage reporting/review of all 850 EDI transactions to ensure accuracy across platforms and follow up on 810 transactions to ensure timely invoicing on each shipment.
  • Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or related discipline.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in order management functions.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Mathematically skilled and has experience working with inventory/demand calculations.
  • Analytical and has strong critical thinking skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite programs.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in written communication.
  • Organized and has excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and ability to multi-task.
  • Collaborative and able to work as part of a team.
  • Experienced in EDI (SPS), ERP (Brightpearl), and eCommerce (Shopify) solutions.
  • Must have proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous peoples is considered an asset.
