JOB TITLE: LOCATION: Payroll & Benefits AssistantHalf Time: 64 hours bi-weekly 1010 Sinclair Street.Monday- ThursdayREPORTS TO: CLOSING DATE: Payroll and Benefits Coordinator May 11, 2022____________________________________________________________________Ten Ten Sinclair Housing is a non-profit consumer driven organization that provides housing and attendant services to support people with physical disabilities to live independently in the community.As a member of the office administrative team, the Payroll and Benefits Assistant has the responsibility for ensuring payroll is processed on time for all Ten Ten staff and integrating employee data changes into SAGE.Responsibilities· Prepare and/or process hourly payroll for union and non-union employees.· Prepare calculations for new hires, changes, terminations, etc.· Communicate with staff and management on payroll related inquiries.· Prepare Records of Employment using ROE Web.· Prepare various correspondence, statistical summaries, month end reports, and other material related to payroll function and other payroll administrative tasks as required· Assist the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator with internal and external audits.· Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.· Human Resources training with emphasis on Payroll & Benefits required or other combinations of education and training will be considered.· Working with Unionized Environments/Collective Agreements.· Demonstrated knowledge of Legislation, T4 preparation and CRA Tax Laws.· Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this position.· Successful Criminal Records check.· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsSalary Range: As per collective agreementPlease forward career resume and cover letter to 1010 Sinclair Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2V 3H7, Attention: Catia Zinni, Payroll Coordinator.
