Building Products & Concrete Supply LP is a joint venture between Qualico Developments and Lehigh Hanson Materials Ltd.Building Products & Concrete Supply LP provides a full benefit package including health and dental benefits and a GRSP/DPSP option after three months of employment.Job OverviewReporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing three payrolls, preparing earning statements and associated record keeping.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:· Processing and entering daily timecards for drivers.· Reviewing daily employee clockings in the time and attendance system, identifying and correcting discrepancies.· Calculating and entering payroll deductions.· Preparing, ensuring accuracy of, and distributing earning statements.· Preparing Records of Employment, biweekly reports and month end accounting accruals.· Preparing and entering journal entries.· Filing and record keeping.· Maintaining confidential employee files.Essential requirements· Minimum 1 year of experience processing hourly payroll.· Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment.· Prior experience with the IBEX payroll system, Mitrefinch Time and Attendance System and Great Plains Dynamics would be an asset.· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.Work ConditionsPrimarily works in an office setting during regular business hours. This position is based out of our Cole Avenue office, and while partial remote work is available during the off season, this is not a remote work position.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
