The Performance Evaluation Analyst will work on assignments and projects specific to department-wide policy requirements as assigned, ensuring that corporate policies are consistent with departmental objectives.Conditions of Employment:

Qualifications:Essential:
  • University degree in Business Administration or related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement, performance evaluation, organizational change management, policy and program analysis, and research.
  • Experience in aligning strategic and business planning with reporting, evaluation and performance measures.
  • Experience in executing small to mid-size projects in collaboration with a project team of varied technical and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in undertaking research and analysis for policy/ project development and implementation using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to adequately explore a full range of options, analyse problems and propose solutions and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational with the ability to manage competing priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear, concise manner for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and articulately to ensure understanding.
  • Demonstrated political acumen with the ability to understand the implications of decision making and deliver information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Extensive experience with the use of Microsoft Office software package (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
Desired:
  • Knowledge of government policies, priorities, and processes.
  • Understanding of policy analysis principles, methods and procedures.
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis of quantitative data using SPSS, SAS, Stata, or other statistical software [Knowledge of performance management software (e.g. Corporate), data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI) and statistical software is an asset.]
Duties:Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Administration and Planning, the Performance Evaluation Analyst is responsible for researching, identifying and reporting on opportunities, key performance measures and initiatives to improve and sustain corporate policies and programs, and evaluating, planning, implementing and monitoring improvements in corporate processes and practices.
