Job titlePlant health field research assistantBayer Canada - Crop Science Division is seeking talented individual to become an integral part of canola plant health team as a Plant Health Field Research Assistant. The individual will assist in field disease data collection. This is a great opportunity to work with leading edge technology and talented research scientists seeking to deliver the best products in Bayer’s canola breeding pipeline.The successful candidate will be hired by a third-party company through Bayer’s Fieldglass system but will be working for Bayer. This role is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the One Research Road location but field research site is in Carman, Manitoba. This is a temporary contract position starting on August 29, 2022 and ending on September 9, 2022.Responsibilities· Interact with canola pathologist on and off-site for project related needs· Work in canola blackleg disease nursery to help with disease data collection· Other duties as assigned· Following Bayer safety rules and standard operating proceduresQualificationsYour success will be driven by your demonstrations of our LIFE values.
