We provide affordable, timely, skills-based education for learners seeking career entry as well as those looking to acquire relevant, in-demand competencies at any point in life.*Post Secondary Instructor, Pharmacy Technician*Term of Employment: December 12, 2022 to February 24, 2023Hourly Rate: $52.48 to $71.41Location: Pembina Campus and/or remotely, as requiredHours of Week: 6 hours/week plus prep timeMITT is seeking potential candidates with demonstrated subject matter expertise, student-centered instructional approaches, and pedagogical practices and technological proficiency appropriate to blended learning course design for the following courses in the Pharmacy Technician program: (applicants will not require pharmacy-specific subject matter expertise).*Culture and Diversity in Canadian Society (PT-170) - *January 3 to February 17, 2023, on Mondays and Fridays from 8:30-11:30 amThis course provides a basic introduction to historical and contemporary influences on culture and diversity in Canada to help students develop intercultural competence. Topics include multiculturalism, inequality, social justice, challenges faced by minority groups, social change, legislation and Canadian workplace culture.Duties will include course delivery using MITT approved course curriculum, supporting student success through well-developed assessment and feedback processes, and maintaining course and student records. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in Program area meetings and contribute to accreditation activities, as well as participate in other College-based committees or activities.*Required Qualifications and Experience*:A combination of related education and experience may be considered.
