Job Description

READY TO GET TO WORKThomas Design Builders Ltdis hiring experienced Pre-Engineered Steel Building Erectors, Iron Workers, Cladders or Welders (Journeypersons or Apprentices) for commercial construction projects in the Winnipeg area.Under the direction of an experienced foreman or supervisor, workers will be engaging in the installation of steel structures, metal wall panels (cladding) and roofing systems of pre-engineered metal buildings.QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Min. 4 years of general construction experience, required
  • Min. 2 years of direct experience in the metal building field, preferred
  • Physical fitness and stamina to reliably load and unload construction materials and comfort working at high heights, in all weather
  • Cladding experience, an asset
  • Experience reading blueprints, an asset
  • Construction Safety/COR Training, an asset
  • Fall Protection and Work Platform training, beneficial
