And you can feel good knowing our Organigram Operating for Good program provides you with the opportunity to support your community through sponsored volunteer initiatives.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a, the Production ManagerReporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager will oversee the overall manufacturing process to ensure optimized production that will deliver high quality and cost-effective products in a safe environment. The incumbent will provide visible leadership for the Production, Engineering, Warehousing & Planning functions. Constant collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure objectives are successfully met as well as alignment with business plans and the larger organizational strategy is the primary objective.What you will be doing

  • Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, equipment / facilities maintenance, quality, and other production related activities.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to meet daily/ weekly/ monthly production targets to satisfy customers demands
  • Provide leadership for direct reports and factory employees
  • Responsible for Health & Safety compliances in line with applicable regulations
  • Develop, implement continuous improvement initiatives for the plant
  • Responsible for Materials Inventory and Control Management
  • Ensuring key performance indicators around quality, efficiency and cost are achieved
Who you are
  • Ability to hold and maintain Security Clearance as per ACMPR.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and train staff to deliver a high standard of product.
  • High attention to detail with outstanding listening, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Analyze and solve process related problems.
  • Manage change towards achieving business goals.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
To qualify, you have
  • Bachelors degree in Management or Business.
  • 7 to 10 years direct operations experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to define goals, metrics, and levels of success.
  • Ability to handle projects with multiple work streams both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business situations
