Job Description

Production Support Team Member You’re a great candidate for this role because you want to work full time, have great attendance, skills, attitude and aptitude and want the opportunity to advance in a career you never thought possible!We pride ourselves in advancing our team members from Production Support to CNC Machine Operators up to Set Up operators as you learn the entire process from the ground up.This is a full-time, permanent role, with non-rotating shift work, working in our bright, modern shop in Winnipeg.We are only currently looking to hire for:Evenings - Sunday to Thursday from 3 pm - 11:30 pm with $1/hour shift premiumOvernight - Sunday to Thursday from 11 pm - 7:30 am with $2/hour shift premiumQualifications, Knowledge and Skills Considered:

  • Experience in a metal manufacturing / production environment an asset
  • Access to reliable transportation to our shop (we are not located on a local transit route)
  • Use a variety of basic hand tools and machines such as grinders, and pneumatic tools
  • Use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Ability to read blueprints or drawings
  • Deburr and assemble parts
  • Complete an assortment of tasks any given day
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Great attitude and attendance
  • Good proficiency with written and spoken English (required for reading, interpreting, and giving/following English work instructions/documents)
  • Able to stand, bend, reach and complete repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Can lift at least 30 lbs
