We are committed to our colleagues and customers and work hard to create a culture that allows us to be our authentic selves while working as a team.Reporting to the Manager, EBS Technology Hub, the Programming Analyst will be responsible for helping colleagues and other business functional areas in the organization improve and simplify time consuming repetitive manual tasks, suggest, and implement best practice solution in process improvements automation. This role will be exposed to different technology software’s and applications like Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Queries Python, SQL, Teradata, SAP Graphical User Interface Scripting, MicroStrategy, Visual Basic, and VBA Excel Macros.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop high quality code that meets specifications and technical standards. Write, modify, integrate and test software codes.
  • Work as part of the development team to design and implement software applications. Maintain existing system programs by making modification as required.
  • Identify, communicate technical problems in the process and provide solutions.
  • Prepare job aids (manuals) and other documentations required to support the program.
  • Follow-up and update the business units we support with regards to the project status and ETA
  • Initiate and manage all meetings with stake holder and understand the business requirement / business process
  • Data analysis by understanding on how to handle source data coming out from various systems platforms (e.g. SAP, SQL, Teradata, MicroStrategy, Excel File, Text File etc.)
  • Creation and support of Excel VBA Macros, Python scripts, SAP GUI scripting, Power Apps, Power BI, Power query, SQL query.
  • Work with special projects as required.
  • Strong work ethic and a team player. Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Assist other colleague from other business units resolve their program technical issue.
The candidate must possess the following:
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent program and related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous applicable industry experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Python programming/scripting, Visual Basic, VBA Excel Macro, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query and SQL Query.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Excel VBA Macros, and other applications / tools available within office 365 suites.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; committed to meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to implement required process improvement or transition new work into the team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to converse comfortably with business partners.
