The company is part of the SBF 120 and the Mid-60 index and is eligible for the Deferred Settlement Service (SRD).ISIN code FR0000073298, Reuters ISOS.PA, Bloomberg IPS:FP www.ipsos.comEstimating and Quoting Translation CostsAssists in managing translation requests in the GRS Quotation mailbox: receives new requests from Client Service teams, clarifies project specification, prepares and delivers cost and timing estimates and explains the translation process (best practice and other options) and cost / timing drivers to CS.Upon job confirmation, ensures the final materials align with the original specifications, costs and timing.Managing Translations for International Online ProjectsSingle point of contact (SPOC) for international translation projects between CS, IIS, external translation vendors and internal GRS colleagues.Manages several research projects concurrently while ensuring that each is smoothly executed on budget and on schedule.Participates in project kick-off calls with CS and IIS teams to confirm the translation process and timings.Briefs external vendors on project specifications and provides clarifications as needed to launch questionnaire translations in Word or Dimensions as required.Works with GRS colleagues to schedule proofreading sessions, report issues and ensure the necessary revisions are delivered as per GRS best practices.Monitors project costs, manages translations supplier invoices and proofreader payments and provides updated budgets to CS in a timely manner if specifications change.Supporting GRS Management of International Offline ProjectsProvides support to GRS offline project managers: English questionnaire review, data map creation / checks, preparation of other project materials such as fieldwork reporting templates.Works with CS and IIS teams as well as Ipsos operations teams in other countries as required by the offline PM.Required Skills and AbilitiesExcellent time management skills with an emphasis on prioritizing workload based on time zones.Effective communicator with internal clients and external translation vendors.Manage client expectations by clearly outlining the GRS translation process and providing timely updated on project status.Diplomatically responds to difficult or unusual operational issues by professionally engaging the appropriate resources to achieve a desired outcome and escalating to the senior IIS and/or GRS managers where necessary.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that clearly articulate requirements to a wide audience.Analytical, creative and resourceful approach to problem solving with a strong sense of project ownership.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information.Excellent command of Microsoft Office (expertise in Microsoft Excel is required) as well as the ability to work with a proprietary translation entry system of which training will be provided.Ipsos is An Equal Opportunity Employer.
