Job Description

Title: Property AdministratorCompany: Hopewell Real Estate Services Inc.Job Type: Permanent Full TimeLocation: Calgary/Winnipeg/KitchenerHopewell Real Estate Services Inc. is a full service third party commercial property management company that manages over four million square feet of industrial, suburban office and retail properties for private investors, pension funds and publicly traded companies. Hopewell Real Estate Services currently has an opening for a Property Administrator to join the team within the land development division.Objective:This position will be responsible for performing core property administration activities to ensure timely service, and contribute to overall success.Reporting:This position will report directly to the Senior Property Manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and keep accurate tenant information relating to address, phone numbers and contact information into the property management/accounting database;
  • Prepare all required lease administration documentation as required on a timely basis;
  • Maintain and update database with all tenant calls and complaints;
  • Maintain lease administration including account receivables, account reconciliations and chargeback billing;
  • Prepare accurate reports as required;
  • Maintain accurate documentation and individual property documents for accounts;
  • Provide answers for inquiries from tenants;
  • Offer tenant liaison and communication on day-to-day property management issues;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of previous property administration experience;
  • Experience in Commercial or Retail Real Estate would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with Yardi would also be considered an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.);
  • Strong communication skill set, written and verbal;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking;
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;
Working Conditions:Traditional core office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work may require occasional weekends and/or evenings. Periodic travel may be required (add any OT, Travel, Physical capabilities etc. needed).Quick Apply
