Our passion for hospitality and our commitment to Guest service starts with the people we employ.We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our TEAM! Years of experience with Facilities Management is necessary for the successful candidate. The resort has many areas to manage and maintain!As a member of the management team, we must focus on ensuring that all guests receive an exceptional level of service. We ensure that every guest that visits us will return. We focus on ensuring that any negative situations are turned into positive ones as soon as possible. It is important to remember that we must set the pace for our fellow management team and all of our staff. We must constantly maintain a professional attitude at all times and represent our property in good faith. Work with other management in a team oriented atmosphere.Constant Responsibilities:1. Overall and continued up keep and maintenance of hotel and housing buildings. General maintenance of all hotel equipment, kitchen equipment, general building and air units2. General cleanliness of work area and all outside areas (Grass cutting, flower beds, tree trimming)3. Monthly upkeep of all emergency systems (lighting, fire alarms, generators)4. Coordinate and train staff on emergency procedures (fire alarm, elevator, generators)5. Required to receive quotes for anyone hired to do maintenance work and approved by GM6. Control of all building key inventories7. Control inventories relating to maintenance8. Control of all maintenance costs9. Staff training, scheduling and labor costs10. Maintenance and cleanliness of exterior buildings11. Coordinate and schedule cleaning of exterior buildings12. Maintenance and cleanliness of pool areas.13. Keep up with Hydro meter readings and water testing14. Work closely with health and safety committee to ensure all issues are addressed and fixed promptly15.
