Glacial Aggregates Inc is looking for a hard-working individual with a good attitude to help with quality control and parts inventory at our locations in the Birds Hill & Stonewall areas.Applicant must be able to work long hours (typically 10-11 hour shifts during busy season), and physically able to do the job (repetitive tasks, lifting of 50 lb pails). Microsoft Office skills and post-secondary education or experience related to gravel testing, surveying, drone piloting and the gravel industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the MHCA COR Safety program considered an asset.On the job training and an excellent compensation package will be provided to the right candidate.Typical duties are listed belowTesting gravel produced in the quarry.Providing backup to our inventory management staff.Assisting in GPS and drone surveys. (Visual observer)General maintenance including snow shoveling, garbage pick-up, cleaning the trucking scale, replacing light bulbs etc;Supervising and training summer students.Salary is negotiable and based on applicants qualifications.
