Qualifications:Essential:

• Post-secondary education, preferably at the Masters level, in a related Social Science or Public Administration or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered
• Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Experience in the area of program and policy development and evaluation
• Experience conducting research and data analysis
• Knowledge of the principles and processes involved in the development, implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to work independently and display initiative
• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively engage various stakeholders in a variety of settings
• Excellent written communications skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, logical reports
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines

Desired:

• Experience conducting statistical analysis of data using statistical or data visualization software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Stata, python, Power BI, etc.)
• Ability to lead project teams

Duties:The Quality Management Specialist is accountable for participating in the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement function throughout the department through the identification, development and implementation of best practice strategies.
