Join the family!Who you areSolid builds don’t build themselves… or do they As the Release & Build Specialist, you guarantee the dev team that we have a great build by developing an on-demand, automated process. You know all the latest tools of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies. You understand how to build robust build systems, create logs that are accessible and detailed, and you are dedicated to setting the bar sky-high on reliability. Your builds will generate automatically on every changelist, are optimized to build only what needs refreshing, and perform automated testing to give feedback to the dev team as quickly as possible. You are an essential part of our success and are proud of it. You believe in our studio’s core values and want to be part of a collaborative team.What you’ll doDevelop and maintain the automated CICD version creation processAnalyze build system performance and develop reliability and automation improvementsSupport the dev team by identifying and isolating problematic changelistsBuild tools to help the dev team in their day-to-day work and deployment of new toolsDocument and update the version creation, management and deployment processesHelp integrate all new hires into the project and manage a large build farmWhat you bringAt Ubisoft Winnipeg, we look for more than work experience, education or training alone. You have programming experience, but more importantly, a deep passion to build and create.We want to hear from people who have:Good knowledge of C# (preferred) or other object-oriented programming languagesExcellent knowledge of at least one scripting language ex. Python, Perl, PowerShellExcellent knowledge of Windows environment ex. registries, file system, networkingExperience with build/continuous integration servers ex. QuickBuild, GitLab CI/CD, JenkinsGood knowledge of a source control system ex. Perforce, GitGood knowledge of task/defect tracking ex. Jira, Youtrack, BugzillaCollege diploma or equivalent training or experienceAny of the following would be useful:Experience with game engines (ex.
