Join our team of Manitobas best as we continue to build a company that supports innovation,commitment and customer service.Under the general direction of the Manager, Value Management Office, the Resource Management Supervisor will be responsiblefor business unit resource planning to meet current /future technology demands and drive business value. This role will ensureintegration and alignment across the entire business unit with respect to capacity management and skill development to ensure theright people are in place to execute on the portfolio of D&T priority development and ongoing operational tasks.To achieve this, the Resource Management Supervisor will oversee and direct the work of a small team of resource administratorsand planners supporting D&T resourcing, education, training, and capacity assessment.Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement processes, tools, and standards for resource capacity planning and identifying opportunities for
efficiency gains with respect to D&T resource management
  • Communicate to D&T leaders in a transparent manner to ensure highest value work items are prioritized and identify any
potential resource shortages
  • Develop and maintain D&T workforce planning and hiring plans, including FTE targets, for new roles required to support all
areas of the business unit, along with filling of vacancies due to attrition and reporting on progress compared to hiring plans
  • Providing guidance and support to D&T leadership in relation to staffing justifications and to all D&T staff completing HR
processes and activities
  • Collaborate with D&T leadership to identify areas where additional capacity and new skillsets can be leveraged through the
recruitment of trainees and student programs and lead the recruitment activities for these roles, in partnership with HR,including initial recruitment, onboarding, and rotation scheduling
  • Develop and support D&T mentorship program
  • Develop processes and provide direction to reports to centralize processes and procedures for onboarding new hires and
contractors for the entire D&T business unit
  • Manage the requirements and develop automated dashboards that provide tracking and reporting of resource capacity
availability and all D&T recruitment efforts, including permanent and temporary positions. Analyze and provide D&T leadershipwith relevant detailed reporting in a summarized manner
  • Liaise with HR on recruitment initiatives, programs, strategies, and process improvement opportunities throughout the
recruitment lifecycle
  • Lead negotiations with division leaders to achieve timely resolution of staffing conflicts and make recommendations based on
availability of resources and skill set, and provide alternate staffing options as required (e.g., consulting/contracting vendorthird party)
  • Responsible for preparation and tracking of D&T training budget, including the promotion of continued education, development
planning, upskilling, and reskilling of staff
  • Responsible for their teams performance appraisals and development plans

  • A four-year bachelors degree in business, management or related field is required plus years of experience from an institute
of recognized standingOR
  • A two-year diploma in an applicable discipline plus seven Years of experience in an HR function, workforce management,
recruitment, or resource management role
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiating, analytical, and project management skills, including the ability to understand the financial
impact of relevant decisions
  • Proven ability to analyze data, interpret findings and provide insight to leadership
  • Strong digital skills with a high degree of proficiency in M365 suite of products including Power BI, Power Apps to support
tracking and ad hoc reporting needs
  • Understanding of resource management and its link to the business strategy
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and volume of requests
  • Superior interpersonal, critical thinking, listening, written and oral communication skills
Salary RangeStarting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
