The position is best suited for an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision-makers within accounts.If you are an ambitious, competitive and hungry seller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, likes the thrill of winning new business and market yourself to build relationships to close deals, you may be the ideal candidate.How You’ll Make an ImpactAs an Automation Solutions Representative, you are a key professional consulting with internal and external partners to increase sales of GNJs Raymond Automation Solutions. Your knowledge of systems and project management is a key component of our sales revenue in the Automation Solutions Group.

  • Work with all sales reps in assigned geographical territory, on potential and actual Raymond Automation projects
  • Develop projects to final specification and prepare customer quotation
  • Promote and develop the sale of systems products through customer site visits to installed sites
  • Work with sales reps on the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
  • Prepare pricing spreadsheets to project costs and establish margin
  • Provide after sales support
  • Respond to customer and internal issues/concern
  • Prepare complete job file of products and services for a project
  • Establish customers’ expectations on project timelines and delivery dates
  • Hand off the project management to the Project Manager for the region (if applicable).
  • Manage the costs of the projects to ensure required margin is maintained
  • Deal with suppliers to ensure quotations are accurate and timely and that products/services are delivered on time
  • Prepare marketing materials to target specific markets.
  • Acquire knowledge of systems hardware and software products and their application
  • Ensure customers are supported through our service, parts and systems integration departments
  • Make decisions and manage problems during the installation process
  • Provide quotations and responses
What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • Minimum of 5 years of solutions sales experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience selling in a face to face environment in an automation integration industry
  • Experience selling tangible products with a clearly defined sales process
  • Able to make the decision based on facts
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, you are a confident communicator, comfortable speaking with managers, executive and peers
  • Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and a professional attitude
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a high degree of initiative, a can-do attitude, results and goal-driven mindset and the ability to achieve set targets
  • Polished customer service skills and an ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work with strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
