Job Description

ST. JAMES-ASSINIBOIA SCHOOL DIVISION"Great Schools for Growing and Learning"SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER CLINICIANFull-time (100%) Term position to approx. Oct 2022Applicants must possess:

  • A valid school clinician’s certificate issued by Manitoba Education or be
eligible to obtain said certificate
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Social Work degree, Master of Social Work
desirable
  • Systems perspective in working with students and their families in meeting
needs as identified
  • Skills, aptitude and knowledge applicable to working effectively with small
groups and one on one with parents, staff and students in a collaborativemanner
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to liaise with outside agencies to provide services to students and
families as appropriate
  • Experience in Manitoba schools preferred
