We are seeking someone with food expediting and serving experience, who is also interested in doing 1-2 hours of housekeeper per day.Approximate Dates: May 10- Sept 18Location: Hawk Lake Lodge (30 min east of Kenora, right off Hwy 17)We are a drive-in lodge but if you do not have a car, we can pick you up from the Kenora bus station or Kenora airport.Looking for a summer job that allows you to spend your free time out in nature on some of the most exclusive lakes in Lake of the Woods, but still close enough to go into town for lunch or a movieEmployment Type: Full Time for the summer (40-45hr/week, working 6 days a week)Hawk Lake Lodge is a 5-star Fishing Resort that provides guests with an all-inclusive American plan. Join our team of 15 other staff, which includes chefs, dockhands/fishing guides, and other waitress/housekeepers.Working with the kitchen team, the typical morning shift is from 7:00-9:00, followed by housekeeping duties from 9:00-11:00. And then another shift for dinner (4:30-8:00).Kitchen duties: include working with the other waitstaff, setting up the dining room for breakfast and dinner service for 20-25 guests. Being a server at breakfast and helping expedite and server dinner (which has been pre-ordered the day before). Working with the team to bus and wash the dishes, and assist with basic tidying of the dining room. Before dinner, help clean up guest picnic lunch packs and help set up for the guests happy hour.Housekeeping duties: working with the team, providing housekeeping for the 10 guest-cabins, which are in excellent condition. You would assist with changing out the towels and twin bed linens as needed, cleaning the bathroom and kitchenette, basic tidying, dusting, and vacuuming. Assist with washing the towels and linens. On rotation, you may be required to do basic cleaning of common areas such as the gym or game room.Working 40-45/hr weekOnsite accommodations (private bedroom) and free wi-fi and free laundry.
