Job Description

Anchor Products has been supplying the construction industry for over 55 years. Were experts in all the tools, fasteners and anchors needed on jobsites big and small. Through our 6 branches we offer the best service and products in Western Canada.Were currently hiring an experienced warehouse professional to work with our warehouse team and help get the products into our warehouse and out to our branches and customers quickly and accurately.JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Receive incoming shipments quickly and accurately
  • Get products into a pickable location
  • Pick orders and transfers
  • Handle the paperwork and data entry into our ERP system
  • Assist our head shipper with outgoing shipments to branches and customers
  • Warehouse maintenance, organization and inventory management
  • Communicate and cooperate with buyers, order desk, outside sales, management and customers
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Attention to detail, numeracy (including fractions) and ACCURACY
  • Customer service oriented with both employees and customers
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and the ability to handle heavy lifting every day (up to 40-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day)
  • Construction industry experience and product knowledge an asset
  • Forklift and order picker experience an asset
  • Organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
