Specifically, this role will focus on ensuring quality is evident within the Rate and Product Change process.Job Responsibilities:A key function of this role is to ensure the various delivery, Business Transformation, branch and executive teams are aligned to the Rate and Product Change quality activities by:providing effective reporting to all levelsworking with teams on the quality output of each areaestablishing and overseeing quality metricsproviding effective communicationBeing a contributing member of the Information Solutions and Information Services management teamLeading and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of work assignment. This includes our vendor partners.Communicating plans, progress and deliverables to all required stakeholdersEnsuring processes, methodologies, policies, and procedures are followed, and create or contribute to the creation of new processes, methodologies, policies and procedures where appropriate.Maintaining accountability for the establishment of development and delivery plans with all the required stakeholders.Overseeing and coaching a team to ensure work environment is respectful, challenging, and rewarding and employees are maximized to their full potential while contributing to the achievement of the company's goals.Contributing to budget preparation and management to budget as forecasted.QualificationsMinimum 3 years’ experience in delivering enterprise I.S. solutionsPost-Secondary degree in Management Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in project management, working with senior level managementStrong ability to implement I.S. solutions in solving business problems in a manner supportive of an organization's goal and objectives.Solid understanding of the methodologies and governance functions used for the delivery and ongoing management of I.S. solutions.Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to effectively deal with both internal clients and external service providers.Advanced customer service orientation with the ability to present ideas, technical solutions and delivery approaches in a business-friendly context.Ability to lead others to embrace, perform effectively, and adapt quickly to changeAdvanced analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to recognize and identify critical issues and take proper action to resolve the issues.Ability to make well thought out decisions in complex and high pressure situations and coach others in decision makingExperience in the insurance/finance industry is considered an assetFamiliarity with Organizational Change Management methodologies or certification is considered an assetWawanesa provides its employees with a respectful , challenging and rewarding environment where they can maximize their potential while contributing to the company’s goals.
