At the University of Manitoba, what inspires you can change everything.The opportunity: The Systems Integration Specialist will be part of the Faculty of Science IT support group and will be responsible for the computing and networking needs of the Faculty of Science as a whole, including the design, development and management of specialized computing environment needed for both teaching and research functions. The Systems Analyst will analyze and evaluate requirements, make recommendations on purchases of hardware and software, provide oversight and maintenance for a variety of computing platforms, provide technical assistance and training, provide web site and online form programing and development, and liaise with the university’s Information Services and Technology Department.The qualifications and experience we’re looking for: The successful candidate must have an undergraduate degree in computer science and training in PowerBuilder, Microsoft Visual Studio+, Oracle SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, and Mac OS X Server, or equivalent.
