This role will be responsible for tacking and fitting our various sized rims but will also include grinding and finishing our rims where needed. Additional opportunities in the robotic welding area are available for a candidate eager to learn new skills and want to expand their experience in operations.You: · Positive and open minded· Agile and change oriented· Eager to learn and love a challenge· Have a sharp eye for detail and product quality· Driven to excel individually and as a team· Like working with new and exciting technology· Want to enjoy going to work everyday and enjoy job satisfactionThe role: · Setting up and using MIG arc welding equipment· Operating semi and fully automatic welding equipment in combination with jigs and fixtures· Loading and unloading parts and finished product using an overhead crane· Tacking and prepping parts for robotic welding· Grinding welds to conform to flat edge requirements· Operating a forklift for product and parts transfer· Other duties as assigned to support your hardworking fellow team members, including working days, afternoons, and midnightsSkills you bring: · Min 2 years working as a welder or in a related field· Familiar with CWB weld standards considered an asset· Knowledgeable of automation equipment, processes, and systems· Adapt to technology changes quickly and seamlessly· Must be able to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and production documents· Lean Manufacturing including 5S knowledge and experience will be considered an assetWe take our team’s safety seriously so you will be required to always wear proper PPE including steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection and respirators where needed. The role:

• Setting up and using MIG arc welding equipment (Lincoln S500 and S350 machines)
• Operating semi and fully automatic welding equipment in combination with jigs and fixtures
• Loading and unloading parts and finished product using an overhead crane
• Tacking and prepping parts for welding
• Grinding welds to conform to flat edge requirements
• Operating a forklift for product and parts transfer
• Operating a plate rolling machine
• Operating a CNC plasma cutting table
• Other duties as assigned to support your hardworking fellow team members, including working days, afternoons, and midnights

Skills you bring:

• Min 2 years working as a welder or in a related field
• Familiar with CWB weld standards
• Must be able to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and production documents
• Lean Manufacturing including 5S knowledge and experience will be considered an asset
