About the RoleTotten is looking for a professional individual to provide exceptional operations support in our Winnipeg office for the summer. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail and data entry skills. This is an excellent role to work in a fast-paced service environment and start your insurance career! This is an ideal role for an individual enrolled in a Post-Secondary school co-op program.What You’ll DoAnswering the phonesOrder and inventory of office suppliesManage Accounts Receivable listManage office mail and office email inbox in a timely mannerPreparation of documentation: New/Renewal/Endorsements /Registered Letters, Certificates of Insurance, etc.Triage – reviewing and assigning broker submissions to the appropriate Underwriting DepartmentOther assistance as requiredWhat You’ll Need for SuccessPrior administrative or office support role an assetProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel requiredKnowledge of industry software an asset (TAM, Policy Works)Effective communication and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and data entry skillsAbility to work independently and in a team structureAbility to self-manage and meet static time linesTotten Insurance Group is Canada’s leading national MGA provider of niche products and innovative solutions.
