Job Description

The Technical Product Owner will participate in defining and breaking down a product roadmap for our platforms and internal systems. Develop a deep understanding of the product stack from technical, operations, business and finance perspectives, and use the understanding to bring high-impact opportunities to the platform product roadmap.Collaborate to develop product plans that improve our platforms, integrating many APIs and different technologies together. Bring stakeholders together to ensure that non-functional requirements (scalability, security, reliability) are consistently a big part in developing product plans. Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and customer experience teams to build the best product in the market.What youll be doing:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product stack from user, technical, operations, business and design perspectives, and using the understanding to bring high-impact opportunities to the product roadmap
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, operations, and customer experience teams to build the best product
  • Contribute to a user-centric approach in assessing the ongoing health of the experiences that we deliver
  • Translate customer use cases into detailed product requirements / specifications
  • Participate in product ideation, planning, prioritizing, estimation, and risk management.
  • Formulate business cases and roadmaps required for cross-functional planning
  • Own design from initial concept through to execution and evolution.
  • Comfortably dig into specifications, technical documents, and documentation about standards or compliance.
  • Experience working with third party vendors in an onshore/offshore development model.
Who were looking for:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with technical products and teams; Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the current technology, systems, and business processes.
  • Proficiency with software development practices for triage, prioritization, and execution
  • Prior product experience, business analyst, management consulting, visual design or engineering background
  • Being a high achiever, willing to roll up your sleeves to learn about the transportation industry and share a nuanced opinion on what makes a product great
  • Capable of executing high-value projects with multiple stakeholders, while dealing with competing priorities
  • Taking ownership over your work and outcomes and passionate about building best-class products
  • Technical experience in implementations and support of integration applications (middleware).
  • Experience building, growing, and motivating teams through continuous recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training
