The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewProvide technical customer service support for wireless products and services and overall assistance and support to the service area as required.Experience

  • 1 year of experience:
    • providing direct technical support of wireless devices (including Apple and Android) and customer service using formalized call tracking/work order management software tools (such as Remedy), and
    • providing user support for telephone systems, facsimile, teleconferencing
    • preparing accounts reconciliation, tracking expenses and issuing invoices specific to call accounting (long distance and mobility account charges)
    • collaborating with vendors on service quotes, account reconciliation and service escalations
  • Previous experience providing technical telecommunication support in a large acute health services facility is an asset
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Secondary school diploma (Manitoba standards)
  • Formal training in applied office skills (including MS Office) is required, post-secondary education in telecommunications management is preferred

  • Demonstrated staff level leadership. The provincial health system in Manitoba has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg
  • Interruptions to respond to questions are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled
