GHY International is seeking a Trade Analyst to join the Canadian Operations team. This role requires a person who has excellent client service skills in order to build successful relationships with internal and external customers, connecting regularly and communicating effectively. They will have demonstrated expertise rating goods using their knowledge of tariff classification codes. Responsibilities

• Audit of transaction shipments
• Maintain a client base
• Engage in client communication
• Pursuit of all documents
• Document pursuit for free trade savings potential
• Log and correct errors determined in audit
• New part creation
• Prepare and present IOR RMD correctors for Invensis/Emerson and 4th/5th days
• Verify and sign IOR RMD correctors from CIS
• Audit and sign V,C & H Types
• Quality control case approvals within threshold
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 Education
• Completion of CCS Designation
• Working on CTCS Certification
• 5+ years’ related experience
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Professional oral and written communication
• Strong internal communication skills
• Read/write and understand detailed forms, memos or letters
• Must have knowledge of Permit and CFIA requirements
• Problem solving skills
• Must be able to prioritize work assignments
• Able to manage heavy workloads
• Work within tight deadlines
• Basic mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
• Calculation of percentages
• Must have strong team leadership skills
• Understanding of Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience with ITMR4 would be an asset
