You will enjoy free delivery of your prescriptions and vitamins straight to your home.Gym Subsidy Program- Employees are eligible for a gym membership reimbursement of up to $240 per year, this includes Fitness related App’s.Trade Compliance AnalystThe Trade Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for execution and maintenance of Price Industries’ Trade Compliance program; this includes process development, training, and audit activities as they apply to Customs compliance for Price Industries Limited and Price Industries, Inc. The individual is also responsible for supporting international initiatives by providing full analysis of opportunities, relationship mapping and business case development.As a member of the corporate supply chain team, the TC Analyst works closely with buyers, manufacturing teams, engineers, logistics and product managers to support the Price business plan.The successful candidates responsibilities will include:

  • Support managing Price’s Trade Compliance program, which includes export/import classifications, licensing determinations, denied party screenings and sanctions programs, identifying deemed exports.
  • Demonstrate accountability and knowledge on Trade Compliance topics.
  • Gain knowledge of regulations, statutes, and laws regarding compliance requirements impacting Price’s business activities. Define and implement appropriate procedures and processes for compliance.
  • Have basic understanding on the impact of customs duties when buying products from suppliers.
  • Analyze and advise on supply chain and business systems to ensure consistent compliance activities.
  • Working knowledge of how to develop case studies.
  • Lead/support development of relationships with customs brokers and the use of their online tools.
  • Oversee the review and approval of all commercial invoices, license applications, and any other paperwork required for international shipments.
  • Interface with other business functions to ensure documentation is accurate and maintained.
  • Support Sales and Engineering departments to structure global transactions to ensure adherence with US/Canada import/export laws and regulations, as well as laws and regulations of foreign jurisdictions.
  • Lead/Support periodic compliance risk assessments and audits to identify issues; works with management to implement corrective actions and provide recovery submissions to regulatory bodies.
  • Utilize Price problem solving tools/processes such as process mapping and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain regular communication with buyers, manufacturing leadership and product managers to ensure alignment with business direction.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
  • Minimum one year experience in an import/export role.
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, degree in a related field OR have relevant work experience in accounting, project management, or importing/exporting.
  • CES/MES or CCS/CTCS credentials are an advantage.
  • Working towards SCMP designation is considered an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of North American import/export trade requirements.
  • Working knowledge of international import/export trade requirements.
  • Strong computer application skills including complement of Microsoft Office software.
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Strength in training and presentation skills.
  • A potential team leader with strong customer orientation.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Self-starter who is a creative out of the box thinker.
  • Possess high sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
