Job Description

PDI Bulk is looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver Dry Bulk for our Terminal in Surrey, BC! Why should you work for us

What you’ll do as the Dry Bulk Truck Driver:
  • Driver logbook
  • Bill of lading
  • Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Trans-border documentation
  • Trip reports
  • Accident or incident reports
  • Loading and unloading of goods
  • Use atlases and other trip planning aids
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Drivers License (Class 1 or A)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement,
  • Experience of driving in mountains
  • Commercial Vehicle Operators Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years experience
  • Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone
  • Weight Handling: More than 45kg (100lbs)
  • Customer service experience
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), drug test
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
