Job Description

At WorkerBee.TV teamwork, makes the dream work, and this role will work with our incredibly talented creative teams to continue to grow this rapidly growing multimedia and production company! This Video Editor focuses on editing and selecting a-roll/b-roll and other video assets for client projects and docu-series. To be the successful candidate, you must be client-focused, and passionate about quality and accountability.What you will be doing: · Ingest and organize assigned 4K raw footage and video assets· Input music, A-Roll/B-Roll, graphics and effects to create first draft cuts· Execute creative editing, color correction, sound mixing to elevate the final product to brand, style and client standards. A background in editing narrative formats is an asset.· Use superior organization skills to mind the finer details of projects, paying close attention to quality, accuracy and timelines.· Encode and export finalized projects according to project specs· Upload videos to online platforms and other applications· Backup and archive original footage and project files on different harddrives and cloud storage· Collaborate internally with the Creative team and Account Coordinator(s) to prioritize projects and define and allocate proper resources and communicate changes.· Effectively use project management tool for your projects and time entry to ensure projects are on scope, on budget and on time.· As required: Hands-on filming with professional video equipment and use of advanced composition and lighting techniques· Some travel may be required from time to time to client events and other filming opportunities· Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and skills that will support your success: · A degree or diploma in Digital Media Design, Graphic Design, Video Production, or equivalent.· 0-2 years of industry experience.· Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects· Capable of working in Mac OS· Knowledge of filming and lighting. Pro filming equipment, interviewing lighting techniques is an asset.· Maintain passport and vaccination status as required to travel.· Excellent Written, Verbal & Visual Communication Skills – the ability to communicate independently and effectively with the internal team, clients, and prospects with previous experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).If you think you have the skills it takes to make a positive impact on our team and become the next WorkerBee, submit your application.
