We also reach our customers through additional product lines including portrait studios, yearbooks, sports, and events.Position Summary:The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate distribution of inventoried materials to meet organizational needs along with assisting Corporate Transportation with coding of invoices.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide for the effective coordination of material activities through direct involvement with the Supply Chain team
• Assure effective inventory management by following key inventory control principles: Maintain real time transactions, daily cycle counting routines, maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse and limit inventory access to authorized personnel
• Assist in the assurance of material availability and the validation of planning assumptions
• Maintain timely and accurate inventory records; make recommendations to improve inventory performance including review of planning parameters, reorder points and identification of slow moving or obsolete inventory
• Source and dispatch inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments with Lifetouch contracted carriers
• Create and maintain all Lifetouch Canada company location and vendor transportation matrixes
• Interact with Lifetouch territories, plants, customers, and vendors to track and trace shipments
• Ensure compliance in the area of export/import activities including document preparation supporting international shipments
• Support the carrier selection process for both small parcel and LTL activities
• Ongoing review of transportation bills to ensure accuracy and validity
• Assist in the ongoing SAP system maintenance of "Spare Parts Inventory" in partnership with the Maintenance Supervisor
• Perform routine audits to assure that all SAP transactions are processing complete and incomplete transactions are addressed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum General Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
• Warehouse experience working with computerized Inventory Control systems
• Experience in the area of transportation, logistics and import/export activities
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate and WHMIS training an asset
• Electric Forklift Operation Certification required
• Ability to lift weights up to 75 pounds and operate related equipment, ie. electric forklift and hand pallet jack
• Strong organizational skills
• General computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
