Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Watch technician / watchmaker to join our team at our location in GARDEN CITY SHOPPING CENTRE.Duties / performance:

  • Basic skills for watch repair ( example: changing watch batteries, adjusting / removing links from watches)
  • Fabricate or fit parts to make watches and clocks
  • Examine clocks and watches, disassemble and check for defective and misaligned parts or rust
  • Replace or repair worn or broken parts
  • Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements
  • Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines to remove dirt and dried lubricants
  • Receiving / processing incoming repairs for watches and clocks
  • Call customers for pickup
Requirements: - Experience in this department is preferred; but we are willing to train· Must be available to work full time (including weekends)· Basic knowledge of watches and clocks· Work well with others· Excellent communication skills· Problem-solving skills when dealing with issues· Able to work well in a fast paced work environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, CasualSalary: $13.50-$16.00 per hourBenefits:
