Job Description

Gardewine is a Manitoba company, with terminals across Canada and a strong history that dates back to the 1950’s. Since being founded in the northern community of Flin Flon we have grown significantly by diversifying within the transportation industry. The most important aspect of our company’s operations is our dedicated people; our people will always be the source of our success and their safety and health will always come first. We are currently seeking an Operations Technology Administrator to join our team.The Operations Technology Administrator is a hands on position that works closely with IT and Operations on the coordination and administration of the deployment of our next generation handhelds.These duties include but not limited to:

  • Liaises between our technology partners to ensure stability in the servicing/exchange/replacement of devices deployed in the field
  • Manages the service queue
  • Understands the functionality of the devices and their role within the organization
  • Be a resource for our driver and dock personnel from a troubleshooting and training perspective
  • Assists the operational team in the rollout of our Dock Management System
Skills/Experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in an Enterprise Applications based environment
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office, Email etc
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills – ability to deal with all levels of user abilities
QualificationsIdeally, candidates will have 2-5 years operational experience and have demonstrated leadership and organizational skills to work with a diverse workforce. Must be flexible and agile to react to the needs of the business.
