Q-Line has been named one of Canadas Top Fleet Employers for the past 7 years!*SUMMARY*Reporting to the Acheson Terminal Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of company administration. Duties include greeting and screening visitors, answering, and forwarding inbound telephone calls, ordering of office supplies, and assisting others with administrative related tasks as required. This position requires strong customer focus and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will excel at taking direction and thrive in a fast paced environment.*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES*

  • Answer incoming calls for main reception which includes screening and forwarding to appropriate people within organization
  • Greet persons entering the building, determining purpose of visit, and directing appropriately
  • Ensure visitors sign in and adhere to proper PPE requirements
  • Refer all inquiries or complaints to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization
  • Collect, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Assist departments; gather, organize, and complete data entries as instructed
  • Monitor inventory levels and order office supplies when necessary
  • Perform other administrative support tasks as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Business Administration Certificate or equivalent considered an asset
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programs including Excel
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Administrative role
  • Ability to create and modify PDF formatted documents and word-processed documents, using Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong ethics & integrity
  • Excellent oral and written comprehension
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
