Job Description

Overview:The Fountain Tire Acheson Distribution Centre (9633 266 Street, Acheson, AB) is currently looking for Warehouse Associates!***Shift is 11:30am-8:00pm, Sunday-Thursday, no exceptions, must be open to overtime and have forklift certification. ***First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.As a Warehouse associate, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

  • Picking Orders accurately by making sure KPI targets are met
  • Receiving trailers by Sorting, stacking, and putting away products to company standards
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks in a timely manner in order to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Maintaining knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers and handling instructions
  • Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
What does it take to get on track
  • Must have valid forklift license (submit with application)
  • Must have drivers license and reliable transportation - NO PUBLIC TRANSIT AVAILABLE
  • 1+ years standup and order picker experience an asset
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Basic computer skills with Windows programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
