Additionally, employees are eligible to purchase shares in Sanjel Energy, providing employees with an opportunity to have ownership in their success.The Opportunity:As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Shop Hand will report directly to the Maintenance lead, and will work out of their locally assigned base location. The primary function of this position is to assist with tasks both inside and outside of the shop.General Responsibilities:

• Abide by the policies set forth in the Company’s quality and Safety manuals, maintain safety standards at all times in the shop and yard, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Wash equipment & trucks, repack various pumps, pressure test equipment, pick up parts, complete facility maintenance as required etc.
• Sweep shop floor, yard and work areas as required according to daily, weekly and monthly parameters and protocol
• Assist Mechanics with maintenance and general repair work on truck mounted oilfield service equipment, hydraulic components, and heavy trucks etc.
• Greasing / Servicing tractors, pressure pumping equipment, iron, valves etc.
• Spot / move heavy equipment *Full Class 5, Non GDL License Required
• Complete other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Recent high school graduates with RAP exposure are encouraged to apply
• Possess a Full Class 5 Driver’s License (Non-GDL)
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior
• Hardworking, works well alone, self -starter, self-motivated
• Mechanical Aptitude
• The desire to start a career in the Oil and Gas industry
