Job Description

At SMS Equipment, our Exchange Coordinator is responsible for providing oversight and managing the program for non-exchange solutions EX components as well as providing customers with cost effective solutions. We are looking for someone who is experienced in managing programs and can effectively problem solve.This role offers remote working.The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assess the current Exchange Inventory to make decisions on whether to keep or dispose of specific components.
  • Provide support to the Operations team by creating a formal Business Case Template for new EX Inventory.
  • Create a process to track performance.
  • Develop a core tracking and reporting process for the EX-component remanufacturing cycle.
  • Identify new opportunities for Exchange Component Business for SMS in coordination with Reman and Operations.
  • Move inventory between Branches as required to support agreed upon stocking strategies with the Branches.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess a Diploma, Certificate or other post-secondary education in Supply Chain or a Business-related field. Related industry experience is considered an asset. Other requirements include:
  • Heavy Equipment experience, in parts and service .is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Exchange Programs and Remanufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and understand the importance of business processes, data structure, reporting and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are
  • Customer-focused approach to resolving business process related systems issues.
  • Ability to proactively identify and manage
  • Ability to generate detailed Business cases and project plans.
