Job Description

Strong Commitments.Since the 1940’s, Strongco Corporation of Canada sells, rents and services mobile equipment from manufacturers with globally recognized in sectors such as Volvo, Case, and Manitowoc Crane. Strongco has approximately 500 employees servicing customers from our Canadian branches. At Strongco, you can expect an exciting and rewarding career.Summary:The Branch Administrator is responsible for working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure daily operations and administrative duties are taken care of in order to assure repeat business.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly KPI’s as required;
  • Process parts orders for internal shop and field requirements;
  • Generate purchase orders for branch and service dept. requirements;
  • Daily time card entry for Service Technicians;
  • Enter work order comments into the computer;
  • Open work orders and dispatch service calls in the absence of the Service Administrator;
  • Track and submit payroll for salary and hourly employees;
  • All branch filing, including work orders and packing slips;
  • Balance cash, Case Credit, Credit Cards and Debit Card sales and forward to Accounts Receivable;
  • Timely processing of parts and service credits;
  • Bank Reconciliation and Deposits;
  • Answer telephone calls with a high level of customer service;
  • Receive purchase orders in AS/400 for payment;
  • G/L Code and approve branch invoices;
  • Enter weekly, monthly and quarterly returns into the system;
  • Cover Parts overflow on both the telephone and the counter;
  • Document and maintain branch policies and procedures;
  • Prepare and distribute customer mailings as required;
  • Create machine arrivals and release documents, have approvals in writing, sign off’s from all parties and maintain machine files;
  • Documentation of Safety Meetings and Workplace inspections;
  • Coordinate and track branch product upgrades.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Pleasant disposition, works well with others and works with a high degree of urgency;
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
  • High level of respect, honesty, integrity;
  • Knowledge of automotive or heavy equipment parts an asset.
Education/Training:
  • Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant work experience;
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment industry.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Work is primarily done in an office environment;
  • Work requires a minimal amount of physical effort such as standing, photocopying and typing.
