Province: AlbertaBranch: AchesonEmployment Type: Full TimeNumber of Positions: 1SUMMARYMUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND FRENCHThe National Inventory Team Lead is responsible for the day to day operations of the NI Team and their corresponding functions as well as analysis of data to support a healthy stock of parts through our branches. responsible for inventory control, stock purchasing, consignment stock control, vendor stock returns, pricing and parts file management, gross margins and monthly reporting of KPIs to Management. This role provides support to the various business units in developing parts sales strategies as well as vendor relationship management. May develop or participate in the creation or modification of policies and procedures as well as implement them when required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be able to complete all tasks performed by the team members
  • Leads the day to day functions of the team
  • Second to the National Inventory Manager
  • Approved transactions such as variances and stock ordering
  • Suggest improvements for the Inventory performance of parts; Inventory Control: stock levels, adjustments & purchases; as well as aged inventories
  • Monitors availability over the counter performance (>83% OTC Stocked Parts);
  • Coordinate Supersessions;
  • Process various analysis and provide recommendations to improve stock health (stock ordering, parts returns, aging parts, financial impacts related to parts, cycle counts, etc.)
  • Assist with recommended stock list;
  • Monitors the Cycle counting of all Regions and subsequent reporting;
  • Reviews customers applying for the Online Parts channel;
  • Monitors back orders as well as Open Purchase Orders
CORE COMPETENCIES:
  • Heavy Equipment & Parts Inventory experience;
  • Knowledge of warehousing systems and / or vendor systems;
  • Intermediate Excel skills including experience with macro
  • Vlookup, pivot tables and advanced formulas
  • Knowledge of administrative practices;
  • May be required to travel up to 25%.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
  • College degree with a specialty in supply chain/inventory management (preferred), or equivalent work experience
