Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Parts & Inventory, this position will provide support to Operations in the utilization and improvement of our ERP’s Material Resource Planning Processes. The Corporate Parts Planning Analyst will support the planning engine through regular monitoring and maintenance to maintain system integrity and functionality. This position will also be integral in helping develop the SMS MRP processes and corresponding implementation. We are looking for a candidate who will bring their knowledge, leadership, and positivity to the team!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning system monitoring, maintenance, and controls. Ensuring a centralized system for set up and processes, maintaining data validity and integrity.
  • Set up and reviewing reports such as stock status, lead times, order method, etc.
  • Inquiries/system issue investigation
  • Working with Operations to provide Training on the system outputs and rationale as well as driving continuous improvement
Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a diploma, certificate or other post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Business-related field and related experience with the demonstrated ability to build and understand the importance of business processes, data structure, reporting and internal controls. Other qualifications include,
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required
  • Ability to travel to where the work needs to be done and to work productively in a distributed team environment that includes other business analysts, support specialists, management, and user communities.
  • Customer-focused approach to resolving business process related systems issues with the business community
  • Ability to proactively identify and manage risk
