Job Description

PRIMARY ROLE:This position reports to the Project Manager of Earthworks and will require travelling to various sites - which may include out of province. The primary role(s) include site/project supervision, providing leadership in health and safety on site, equipment operations (preferred), and day to day associated site paperwork.RESPONSBILITIES & KEY TASKS

  • Equipment Operations: Loader, Excavator, Truck, etc.
  • Track and control onsite projects resulting in the successful completion of all jobs within the established timeframe.
  • Perform safety meetings on-site; ensure all corporate and client health and safety policies and procedures are being implemented correctly
  • Supervision of site-workers
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSExperience & Skills Requirements:
  • Operator experience
  • Experience with on-site supervision
  • An ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Experience with health and safety regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Safety Training / Certifications (compulsory upon hire)1. Valid, clean class 5 Canadian driver’s license2. WHIMIS 20163. First Aid/CPR4. CSTS5. H2S6. Ground Disturbance7. Confined Space8. Working from HeightsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $30.00-$35.00 per hourAdditional pay:
