They will also pursue leads, initiation of prospect calls and establish a positive rapport with existing customers to help generate revenue.CORE COMPETENCIES:Accountability and DependabilityAdaptability and FlexibilityCommunicationConsultationCustomer FocusEnergy and Stress ManagementEthics and IntegrityMathematical ReasoningPlanning and OrganizingProblem-SolvingQuality OrientationResults FocusTeamworkTime ManagementDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Client RelationsMake outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail.Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner.Provide customer support and troubleshoot services via telephone.Achieve and maintain rapport with new customers and works to give the best possible service.Maintain leads, calls, and contacts daily.Business Development and ManagementCold-call prospects with leads that are generated by external sources. Monitor APC and similar tender sites and identify protentional projects of interest to report to departmental manager.Identify and follow-up with decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from with the client base.Collaborate with Territory Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.Handle inbound and unsolicited calls and convert into sales.Receive telephone requests for price quotations and purchase order information from clients.Secure and capture competitive information from customer interactions.Support Sales InitiativesAssist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.Provides price quotations and prepares the associated forms and works with the operations team if the price is unknown.Works with accounting, operations, and business development to maintain records on active projects and account activity updates.Drive internal processes for quote generation.Product KnowledgeWhere necessary, support marketing initiatives such as trade shows, exhibits and other client related events.Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.Clearly and appropriately communicate brand identity.Respond to technical questions regarding the products available.Other duties may be assigned as required.REQUIREMENTS:3+ years of experience in a similar role. Experience with Alberta Purchasing Connect, BuildWorks Canada, and similar public tender sites.Previous exposure to the energy and road construction sectors with emphasis’s on geosynthetics.Experience in cold-call planning, call control and account development.Strong problem-solving and time management skills.Proficient in MS Office.Previous experience with CRM databases.Ability to develop and maintain client rapport.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and in a group setting within various levels of the organization.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.Ability to occasionally travel.As a part of the Paradox team, the successful candidate will be offered competitive compensation, benefits, matching RRSP program, hands on experience and other exciting incentives.If you are interested in joining our team, please apply now with your cover letter and resume.
