Position Description:The OpportunityWe are currently looking for a Lodging Maintenance Technician to join our lodging team! Working in Acheson, AB and surrounding areas, the successful candidate will be responsible for: completing daily rounds, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of appliances, inventory, materials ordering, preventative maintenance, machinery operation, and repairs to the buildings and building systems in our remote camps.Why work for Clean HarborsHealth and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!Competitive wages on this temporary position;14 on 14 off , shift rotation in a remote location;Positive and safe work environments;Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;Performs preventative maintenance to buildings and appliances;Monitors and ensures that the systems that support the buildings are operational;Maintains sufficient inventory levels for continuous operation.What does it take to work for Clean HarborsValid class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract;1+ years of Lodging / Camps building maintenance experience is an asset;Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, machinery, etc.;Valid safety tickets are an asset (Confined Space, Fall Arrest, First Aid and CSTS).40-years of sustainability in action.
