(IMI) is a distributor of municipal and contractor equipment. We take great pride in only representing industry leading manufacturers of the highest quality who shares the same commitment to value and relationships as we do.Parts Technician Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Providing parts to the mechanics in the shop
  • Managing and maintaining the parts / inventory rooms
  • Updating invoices and internal repair orders
  • Organizing pick-up and delivery of parts locally
  • Servicing customers via multiple platforms, e.g. email, telephone, counter sales.
Ideal candidate will possesses following:
  • Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Parts Department Operations
  • Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service
  • Has excellent team ideology, with a strong emphasis on supportive culture
  • Has excellent communication skills, is highly organized and can manage paperwork efficiently
  • Is independent and resourceful; has the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Is proficient with computers and supporting programs, e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Has knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogs, distributors and dealers
  • Has knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices.
  • Active safety culture participation and involvement
  • Has a clean driving record and a valid Alberta class 5 drivers license
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • The ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast paced challenging environment
