Job Description

We have an exciting Permanent opportunity in Acheson for a Production Warehouse Team Lead. This role starts immediately for a wholesale company that specializes in drilling chemicals and additives. The ideal candidate will be willing to lead on the floor and work alongside their team. Their leadership style will be to lead by example!If you are interested to learn more, please find the details below:TITLE: Warehouse Team Lead in a Production environmentLocation: Acheson ABShift: 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to FridayPay: $25-30/hr depending on experienceAdvantagesPermanent hire3 weeks vacationdental and medical benefitsgrowing with a large companycompetitive pay ratesWork alongside team orientated peopleResponsibilities

  • Loading/unloading, strapping and putting tags
  • Generating waybills and Inventory counting
  • Booking trucks and shipping goods
  • Experience in a Production environment
  • Good organizational and priority management skills
  • Very good team spirit
  • Flexibility, able to work individually
  • Order picking/packing
  • support customers as needed
  • team lead with 1-3 subordinates
  • team scheduling
Qualifications
  • team lead experience or lead hand experience in a warehouse environment (Production preferred)
-Ability to operate sit down forklift- must have certification or be willing to get one as a condition of employment
  • Ability to support in the supervision of a small team
  • thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving
  • Understanding of OHS procedures and WHMIS
