Joining the All-Fab team as a Truss Builder, you will be assembling wooden roof trusses and floor trusses from pre-engineered drawings. A Truss Builder requires standing for excessive periods of time. The position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs up to 50lbs to perform the job safely. The materials that you will be working with include wood, hammers, power tools, pneumatic tools and other hand tools. This opportunity will be offered to the right person who understands the importance of working safely at all times and being an inclusive and respectful team player. Previous experience in building trusses is an asset however, training will be available for the right candidate.Duties/Responsibilities:· Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order as directed by the Team Leader· Assembles trusses in accordance with the company procedures, standard work operating procedures and as instructed by Team Leader· Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment; and reports any problems to the Team Leader· Maintains a clean workstation throughout the shift, and especially cleaning up shortly before the end of the shift· Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructedKnowledge/Abilities:
