Overview:The Fountain Tire Acheson Distribution Centre (9633 266 Street, Acheson, AB) is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate!***Shift is 11:30am-8:00pm, Sunday-Thursday, no exceptions, must be open to overtime and have forklift certification. ***First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.As a Warehouse associate, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:Receiving trailers by Sorting, stacking, and putting away products to company standardsPicking Orders accuratelyLoading and unloading delivery trucks in a timely manner in order to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitmentsMaintaining knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers and handling instructionsAssisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory countsWhat does it take to get on trackPrevious experience in a warehouse environment is considered an assetMust have valid forklift license (submit with application)Must have drivers license and reliable transportation - NO PUBLIC TRANSIT AVAILABLEStandup and order picker experience an asset (send copies if you have them)Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds on a regular basisBasic computer skills with Windows programsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionWhat does Fountain Tire offerAt Fountain Tire, our associates are our number one asset.
